Lifetherm Warming Bed

A new generation of Warming Cradles and Reanimation Units sets standards in neonatology. Due to the completely revised design of its components, Lifetherm 2000 became a real professional for hospital use. Some details have been still better adapted to practical requirements, thus resulting in a new and modern design.

The warming bed is available without cover, with a closed cover or with a fold up cover that can be opened on both sides, and can be upgraded with extensive accessories.

The so called contact heat of the surface heater is the most effective type of heat transfer. The comfortable and soft gel-mattress will avoid pressure marks to the baby and support thermal stability of premature infants.

Gas mixture tables, readjustment of flow and uncertainties in mask leakages are things of the past. The user enters directly PEEP and oxygen concentration. charisma verifies the ventilation accessories used and guaranties the secure compliance of the parameters set.

Dynamic compensation of leakage
Older CPAP equipment, working with Continuous-Flow- Principle, had to be adjusted manually to the gas flows offered in order to compensate variable mask leakages. When the supply of flow was too low, the set PEEP value could not be realised and the danger of alveolar collapse appeared. charisma combines the established Demand- Flow with the Continuous-Flow-Principle, readjusts the necessary flow continuously and controls the PEEP set.

Individual alarm settings
There are fundamental differences in monitoring requirements of intensive care units, outpatient departments, wards and therapy wards. charisma allows the alarm adaption to the necessities of the clinical routine. Thereby requirements of apnea, alarms of low and high pressure values and alarm volume are directly adjustable via touch screen.

Innovative monitoring of leakage according to “traffic light principle”
charisma monitors existing mask leakages without interruption and adapts the inspiration flow consecutively. According to the traffic light, leakages are displayed visually and easily comprehensible.

SINUS

Sinus’ functional design is a convincing argument for users in clinics and surgeries.

But this anaesthesia apparatus has proved its worth in mobile applications-for first aid at the place of accident or during emergency transports.

Sinus can be used in conjunction with the ISO circulation system or the semi-open anaesthesia system. N₂O and O₂ are supplied via wall-mounted terminals, a central gas supply system, or a gas bottle stack. Leon MRI

The Leon MRI has been specially developed for use in the MRI area with field strengths of up to 40 millitesla. It can be operated on 1.5 tesla and 3.0 tesla MRI systems.

Different coloured alarms and messages indicating the priority can be easily recognised due to LED lights, which are visible from all sides, also outside the MR field.

Power spectrum of the Leon MRI: Both the power spectrum and the operation of the Leon MRI, match exactly, without any restrictions, those of the already well-established LEON.

A further major logistic advantage can be found in the compatibility of the compact circuit system with the LEON plus, LEON and Leon MRI systems. The position to MRI is monitored by an integrated magnetic field strength monitor.
