Anaesthesia

Leon

A present-day anaesthesia work station ought no longer provide maximum technical performance but also new and expandable platform concepts.

These can be configured according to personal demands. By the development of Leon, Heinen und Löwenstein is setting new standards.

This ‘personal anaesthesia work station’ combines proven ergonomic design and hygienic concepts with top technology thus providing optimum support for your work, e.g. during the initiation and course of operations, for diagnostic purpose and other relevant hospital systems.

Leon specifications:

  • Rebreathing ventilation performance up to the standard of an intensive ventilator
  • Classical gas mixture via flow tubes
  • Pneumatic ventilator drive
  • Patient system designed for efficient preparation and most easy assembly
  • Absorber change during operation
  • Ventilation technology to care for patients of any age.
  • Ventilations Modes: IMV, SIMV, PCV, Man. Spont. (optional SPCV, PSV, HLM)

Leon Plus

Anaesthesia assistance, equipped for example with ventilation performance in back breathing system on the level of an intensive respirator and precise electronic gas mixing in a wide flow range of 200 ml/min to 18 L/min. 15″ colour TFT monitor and gas sensor in various versions.

Leon Plus advanced specifications:

Leon Plus is developed modularly as a genuine platform concept.

This modern anaesthesia assistant can be integrated completely in your specific work environment and trimmed exactly to your personal operations.

Leon Plus NEO
Its individual configurability guarantees maximum comfort and the optimum support during its introduction, in the operating room, during therapy and in every hospital system.

Leon MRI

The Leon MRI has been specially developed for use in the MRI area with field strengths of up to 40 millitesla. It can be operated on 1.5 tesla and 3.0 tesla MRI systems.

Different coloured alarms and messages indicating the priority can be easily recognised due to LED lights, which are visible from all sides, also outside the MR field.

Power spectrum of the Leon MRI: Both the power spectrum and the operation of the Leon MRI, match exactly, without any restrictions, those of the already well-established LEON.

A further major logistic advantage can be found in the compatibility of the compact circuit system with the LEON plus, LEON and Leon MRI systems. The position to MRI is monitored by an integrated magnetic field strength monitor.

Leon Ceiling

Of course, the ‘anaesthesia support’ Leon is also available as a unit for wall and ceiling suspension. The unit is identical with the mobile cart version.

With this option, Heinen + Löwenstein offers a further range of application in anaesthesia care thus making your work routines even more flexible.

Compose your own, individually scheduled work station on the basis of Leon. Today and for the future, you will obtain the highest possible flexibility and safety using this anaesthesia work station.

Sinus

Sinus’ functional design is a convincing argument for users in clinics and surgeries.

But this anaesthesia apparatus has proved its worth in mobile applications-for first aid at the place of accident or during emergency transports.

Sinus can be used in conjunction with the ISO circulation system or the semi-open anaesthesia system. N2O and O2 are supplied via wall-mounted terminals, a central gas supply system, or a gas bottle stack. Special features include the integrated wall bracket, the retractable handle, the pull-out bracket for the circulation system, the lid for closing the device and four measuring tubes allowing for fine dosing during low-flow operation. SRS minimum oxygen dosing technology guarantees a very high degree of safety for the patient.
